Short and easy walks in reserves and nature parks, with all the species-rich flora that become magical in every season, will further enrich this trip. Particular attention is paid to the typical Sicilian cuisine, with its simple but tasty ingredients that with its knowledge and traditions, and not only, will explore idyllic and rural lands that will fascinate every visitor.

1st day

Welcome in Sicily


Arrival in Palermo or Trapani (from Catania transfer by regional bus and to Palermo central station included in the price). Welcome from our staff and transfer to the accommodation facility in the Erice area. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour by the guide/group leader. Dinner and overnight stay.


2nd day

Zingaro Park, S.V. lo Capo, Erice


After breakfast, departure towards San Vito Lo Capo to the Zingaro Park, a lush nature reserve by the sea, which enchants with its rigorous and natural beauty. The typical colors are spectacular in every season, such as the white sand bays set in the turquoise sea. Free time for a bath in one of the coves inside the reserve or, for those who prefer to go exploring, the park offers several interesting sites to discover. Lunch break in San Vito Lo Capo, the beautiful seaside resort on the west side of the island with its beaches among the most beautiful in Italy. Continue to Erice on Mount San Giuliano at 751 meters. From here you can enjoy a unique panoramic view, both on Trapani, on the Egadi Islands and on Monte Cofano. Walk through the picturesque medieval streets, with the cathedral, with the mighty city walls of the Phoenician period and the remains of the Castle of Venus. A taste of the delicious “Ericini” (typical biscuits) must obviously not be missing before leaving Erice. Dinner and overnight stay.


3rd day

Monreale, Palermo, Cammarata

Breakfast and departure for Palermo. That unique mix of cultures makes Palermo one of the most interesting cities in Europe. In the morning visit to one of the most important religious buildings of the Middle Ages, the largest mosaic bible in the world: The Cathedral of Monreale and its cloister. Then continue on to the city center of Palermo and visit the Cappella Palatina, palazzo dei Normanni and the majestic Cathedral.

From here it will be possible to walk through one of the historical markets of Palermo: the Vucciria, Il capo or Ballarò, which according to the prestigious, as well as among the best known Us magazines "Forbes" defines it as "capital of street-food of Italy" and among the five most important in the world. During the day a typical "light lunch" with dishes such as "bread and panelle"(corn flours), "arancini" (riceballs), "sfinciuni"(Sicilian typical pizza), and "pani cu a meuza (bread with spleen)" and many other specialties! Continue with an orientation tour through the most renowned streets of the capital.  In the evening you will reach Cammarata, for the overnight stay in the Park of the Sicani Mountains. "Eco-sustainable" dinner with natural ingredients at km. 0 and local products, for example the "Tumazzu" Pecorino D.O.P. (goat cheese), sheep and cattle meat, which thanks to the naturally prepared territory, allows animals to graze in organically cultivated land, with pastures rich in plants and aromatic herbs. This concludes a day full of emotions.


4th day


Sicani Mountains Park


After breakfast departure for Lercara Friddi (birthplace of Frank Sinatra's father), to Prizzi where there is a walk with its characteristic narrow streets and alleys with medieval remembrances.We continue to Palazzo Adriano, founded by the Albanian exiles who in ancient times founded it bringing with them customs and customs, but not only, we will visit a beautiful church "Santa Maria Assunta" of Greek-Byzantine rite, unique in its kind and where the famous director Giuseppe Tornatore made his masterpiece "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso", winner of the Oscar. Next, we will visit the hermitage of Santa Rosalia alla Quisquina, a mystical and very fascinating place in the heart of the forest, where the life of the virgin will be told, as well as the patroness of Palermo. The hermitage, in addition to the "cave", includes: the church, the crypt and conventual environments such as cells, the kitchen and the refectory, where there is a tasting of local products and wine. At end of the day,  visit  one of the most   popular local recreation areas in the province of Agrigento,  San Giovanni Gemini, that in its mother church houses the Black Christ "Gesù Nazarè (Jesus from Nazareth)" which will reveal a fascinating history and again, settled in the heart of Cammarata, the flagship of the area, which thanks to its unique urban landscape (which extends on a steep slope from 600 to 950 m high)  with   its narrow courtyards,  the steep  hills and stairways of the Arab quarter leaves every visitor amazed. 5th day

Agrigento, Piazza Armerina

After breakfast departure for the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento (UNESCO since 1982), one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. The inhabitants of the ancient "Akragas" practiced a refined lifestyle, in the middle of a valley of overwhelming splendor full of temples and rich villas equipped with every comfort.  Visit to the temple of Juno, Concordia, Hercules, the temple of Zeus and Castor & Pollux, framed by thousand-year-old olive trees, almond groves and citrus groves wherever you look. Continue through the Kolymbetra Garden (FAI), one of Italy's most enchanting historic gardens.  Lunch break at the seaside resort of San Leone, renowned for its famous golden sand dunes. Departure to Piazza Armerina and visit of the ''Villa Romana del Casale'' (UNESCO World Heritage Site); inestimable value of the daily life of the Roman age. Forty rooms whose floors are covered with perfectly preserved mosaics, with an area of about 3,000 square meters. Dinner and overnight stay near Piazza Armerina - Caltagirone.


6th day

Caltagirone, Noto, Siracusa

After breakfast, departure to Caltagirone. A city famous for the production of ceramics, an activity that has developed over the centuries since the times of the ancient Greeks. Possibility of visiting the countless craft shops in the middle of the artistic activity; continue to the historic center, visit of the imposing monumental staircase Santa Maria del Monte considered the emblem of the city. Continuation for Noto, considered together with the other seven cities in the Val di Noto (UNESCO heritage site), the fulcrum of Sicilian Baroque after the destruction of the earthquake of 1693, rebuilt creating a masterpiece with theatrical tastes of the eighteenth-century architecture, it is also called a stone garden. Free lunch in the old town. Afterwards, visit to the archaeological area of Syracuse with the Latomies of Paradise, the Ear of Dionysus, the Greek theater and the Roman amphitheater. Then towards the Peninsula of Ortigia, historic center of Syracuse.  Visit to the temple of Apollo and the spectacular “Duomo”, which houses the Greek Temple of Athena and, again, walk to the legendary “Fonte Aretusa” source of inspiration for poets and artists. Dinner and overnight stay Etna-Catania area.


7th day

Etna, Taormina

After breakfast departure for Etna, the highest volcano in Europe. Through citrus groves and pistachios and with unparalleled panoramic views, you reach the “rifugio Sapienza” at about 2,000 meters above sea level. Hence the opportunity for a walk to the “Silvestri craters” with its volcanic cones from past years tempered by the last eruptions of the volcano that will give the feeling of being in a lunar paradise but with a breathtaking view. Or you can opt for an optional excursion by cable car and jeep to the summit craters at about 3000 m. (price about € 65.00 per person). Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to taste the high quality of the artisanal local honey. Free lunch, then you reach Taormina.

The enchanting city set on a natural terrace, overlooking the Ionian Sea, the medieval urban structure, the ancient soul, the colors and scents of the Mediterranean scrub, Taormina is really one of the most beautiful places in the world and without any doubt a place to visit at least once in a lifetime. There is a lot to see in Taormina; The public garden, the Corvaia palace, the “Duomo”, the Corso Umberto with its countless small shops offering the best products of local craftsmanship. The ancient theater with its breathtaking view of the blue sea, the coasts of Calabria and Sicily and the steaming peak of Etna that unleashes a natural fire of artifice and emotions. Return in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight stay.


8th day

Arrivederci Sicilia

After breakfast, depending on departure time, transfer to the airport and end of our services
